NYC: Lo Sister Korean Frozen Yogurt Bonanza

Monday, February 18th, 2008

Melody was in NYC for interviews so I dropped by for the weekend. Melody’s friend Ellen was kind enough to have us over. Fancy Korean frozen yogurt was a common theme for the trip. I also made an, um, sizeable contribution to the Muji temple in SoHo too…

Ellen, Melody and me in a Korean place down the street. Try the kimchee dumplings!

The waiter seemed to be one of those guys who’s always happy and will laugh at anything resembling a joke. I bet he gets good tips.

Ellen and Melody test my camera’s depth of field, I test their patience with incessant photos.

The shopping duo go fruity at Pinkberry

Pinkberry is good frozen yogurt, but hey, it’s still frozen yogurt.

If you don’t like crowds, Pinkberry is not for you.

Hells yes! It’s a real Muji store! On my continent!

MUJI! MUJI! MUJI!

The stationery section. I must have spent a good fifteen minutes just in this part of the store.

The containers and clothes corner. Where else could you get super-awesome socks and empty bottles for shampoo?

One day I’ll have a Muji bed. One day.

Red Mango is supposedly the original Korean frozen yogurt place. The girls obviously approve.

Studies have shown Red Mango froyo may contain PCP. Just ask me and Steve.

What’s a Saturday night without email?

“Count the jellybeans in the jar” will no longer exist at the town fair. It will be replaced by guessing how many times Kanye West says “Unghh” on any given album.
